Two dance institute owners, Rajat Batta, and Manpreet Toor, have accused Diljit Dosanjh’s management of not paying their dancers for performances during the Dil-Luminati tour in the US and Canada.
Manager’s Response
On Friday, Diljit’s manager, Sonali, addressed the accusations, stating, “Our official team has never reached out to Rajat Batta or Manpreet Toor. The narratives they are sharing on social media are untrue. Rajat and Manpreet had no involvement with the Dil-Luminati Tour whatsoever.”
Context
Diljit is currently touring across various regions, including the US, Canada, Europe, and India. The unpaid dancers’ controversy has overshadowed the success of the tour, which included a concert in Toronto attended by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
